Right now I'm focused on the places where human judgment and AI capability have to share space — and what that means for organisations building there. I've done this across mining, fintech, and consumer sectors. The work is about trust as much as it is about design.

New interaction paradigms are emerging. Where human judgment belongs, what trust between people and AI systems looks like, how we design for genuine collaboration rather than replacement — these are design questions at their core. I find that genuinely exciting. Not because I have the answers, but because the questions are the most interesting ones I've encountered in my career.

I think out loud through Designing for Humans in the Loop — a podcast about how AI and human judgment share space in real products. And through The Gap Is The Opportunity on Substack, where I write about what the design discipline needs to become in response to all of this. I'm part of the GenAI Labs cohort. I build with the tools — Claude Code, Cursor, Figma Make — not to shortcut the thinking, but to understand what's possible and where the human still has to hold the line.
